Background and Experience

In highschool I took an introductory computer science class where I learned the basics of algorithms, binary and hex number calculations, and web design with html, css, and javascript. I was even able to get some hands on learning about circuit design and logic gates with breadboards.

When I entered college I had decided that this was the direction I wanted to go. I majored in Computer Science and Information Systems, with a concentration in the computer science side.

Most of my professional experience has been in full stack web development. I am well versed and proficient in working in php, html, css, javascript (vanilla and Jquery), Nodejs, sql, mysql, python, powershell, and Java.

In my previous position, I helped the head of the IT department at a water meter company upgrade their full stack web app from php 5 to php 7/8. This web app was used out in thefield to track appointments and generate workorders

In my current position, I have been privivleged to lead a project to create a full stack web app for a genetic testing lab that screens patients to determine qualification for a variaty of genetic test types.
