Experience and Projects

I am proficient in and have experience programming in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (pure JavaScript, Jquery, ajax, bootstrap frontend), Java, Python, PHP, MySQL, VBA, bash, powershell.

I have past experience working in a water utility company, helping to develop their internal LAMP webapp that tracks and schedules technician appointments, generate workorders, and hold customer information.

Currently, I work in a Medical Testing Lab as a Full Stack Web Developer. Myself and one other coworker are the development team responsible for creating a LAMP webapp that has questionnaires for multiple different medical tests that help determine whether or not a patient qualifies for the test, generate pdf medical forms, hold patient information, hold physician and facility information, allow physician to digitally sign completed forms

Most Recent Project: php-bootstrap-modal-demo Simple PHP/HTML project that demos bootstrap modals and alerts and how they can be used. Modals are used to open a popup form to edit a row in a mysql table, and used to view a pdf file

Future Learning Plans:

  • Most of my professional experience so far has been with web development. One of my future plans is to do more with desktop application development using languages like Java, C# or Python to create a GUI desktop app.
  • I have also wanted to experiment with game development. I would like to try and use languages like Java, C#, Python, Lua, and/or game engines like Unity, Unreal, Godot, etc... to create my own game. I have had some small experience in the past making very simple games like checkers and snake with Java, but I would like to try and learn more complicated game development.
